Membership is open to all, but only women who donate quarterly

are able to nominate and vote for nonprofits.

$100 per quarter ($400 per year). All donations are processed through Grapevine.org and 100% go to the winning nonprofits.

We understand budgets vary and we would not want to exclude any woman who would like to join us. Members can form teams with 1-3 other members. That brings the quarterly donation to $25, $34 or $50. Let us know if you would like our help to form a team.

Only members who are current with their quarterly donations can nominate and vote.

Yes, your donations are fully tax deductible. Please note, donations processed through Donor Advised Funds are an exception.

We encourage attendance, but life happens. If you can't attend in person, you can attend online and vote on your computer after hearing the presentations.

We want to offer everyone a vote. If you are unable to attend in person or online and want your vote to count, please email Lyn at 100wwclamoillevt@gmail.com no less than 2 days before the scheduled Gather and Grant event for instructions.

Organization Must:

• Have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

for 12 months prior to applying

• Listed as a nonprofit corporation with the Vermont Secretary of State

• Operate within Lamoille County for the benefit of Lamoille County residents

and communities

• Have revenue and expenses under $2,000,000.00 for two consecutive years

100 WWC-LC will not provide grants for:

• Individuals or private foundations

• Activities that are religious, partisan, or political in nature

• Fundraising events, fund drives, or annual appeals

• Organizations that do not provide direct services

• Organizations that received a top 100WWC-LC grant in the last 2 years

• Organizations that received 2nd or 3rd 100WWC-LC grant in the last 1 year

As we continue to grow and evolve, 100 WWC-LC reserves the right to change its

eligibility criteria without notice at any time.

There are a few reasons:

1. It eliminates any hint of bias by the steering committee.

2. It reduces the influence of biases by the members (the more populated towns will still have more local nonprofits nominated).

3. It evens the playing field for organizations that might not be well-known or are from small towns that likely have fewer members in our giving circle.
   

No. As soon as the nomination period ends and the three nominees are randomly selected, the slate is wiped clean. Eligible members (any member who is a quarterly donor) may nominate the same or a different nonprofit the next quarter.
